Char Dham Yatra
Overview
The complete Char Dham circuit — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — on fixed group departure dates with shared coach travel. This is our most physically demanding route; pony, palanquin and helicopter options are arranged at every temple trek for travellers who need them.
Day by day
Arrive Haridwar+
Arrive by flight to Dehradun or overnight train, transfer to Haridwar. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
Haridwar to Barkot+
Drive to Barkot (200km, ~7hrs) — base for the Yamunotri trek.
Yamunotri darshan+
Drive to Janki Chatti, then a 6km trek (pony/palanquin available) to Yamunotri temple and back.
Barkot to Uttarkashi+
Drive to Uttarkashi (100km, ~3hrs), visit Vishwanath Temple.
Gangotri darshan+
Drive to Gangotri (100km, ~2.5hrs each way) for temple darshan, return to Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi to Guptkashi+
Long transit day toward the Kedarnath base (220km, ~8hrs).
Kedarnath darshan+
Drive to Sonprayag, then trek/pony/palanquin/helicopter (16km trek, or ~8 min by helicopter) to Kedarnath. Overnight near the temple.
Kedarnath to Badrinath+
Trek down to Sonprayag, then drive to Badrinath via Rudraprayag (200km, ~7hrs). Evening darshan.
Departure+
Morning darshan, then drive to Rishikesh/Haridwar for your onward journey.

Is this trip suitable for senior citizens?+–
It's our most physically demanding route — both Yamunotri and Kedarnath involve genuine mountain treks. Pony, palanquin and (for Kedarnath) helicopter options are arranged for travellers who need them, paid directly at the site.
What's the helicopter option for Kedarnath?+–
A helicopter service covers the trek in about 8 minutes each way, subject to weather and availability — we help with the booking process, but tickets and fares are separate from this package price.
Why are dates limited to May-June and September-October?+–
The temples themselves are only open during these windows — they close for winter due to snow.
Is food really pure veg and Jain throughout?+–
Yes, without exception — this is a pilgrimage circuit and satvik food is standard at every stop.
